Cheese Kunafah

Although there are more than one type of kunafah, which originates from the Middle East, the general method of preparation is the same. A type of unsalted cheese is placed between two layers of kadaif (undercooked dough in thin strings) and cooked lightly, and sugar syrup that is not very thick is added to it. It is the indispensable ingredient of this hot dessert, which is made from unsalted, white colored cheese, which is obtained from goat or cow milk, and extends when taken into the mouth, no matter where it is made.

Bake Preparation

Preheat the oven at 220°C upper and lower heat settings. Take the kunafah out of its box. Lift the top cover. Place the frozen dessert with its aluminum wrap on the grill on the middle rail and fry until golden brown. After browning, turn and fry the bottom as well.

Pan Preparation

Put the kunafah on the Teflon pan and fry the bottom until golden brown. Then turn the dessert and fry in the same way until golden brown. Spread the syrup in the box on the Kunafah and serve it hot.
